2 Korintus. 4:7-15
\nMatius. 20:20-28<\/p>\n

Anugerah Keselamatan<\/p>\n

Saudara-saudariku yang terkasih, keselamatan kerap dipahami sebagai hadiah dari sebuah perjuangan yang panjang. Keselamatan acapkali dimengerti sebagai upah setelah menjalankan tanggung jawab yang besar. <\/p>\n

Itulah sebabnya, seringkali kita berlomba-lomba membuat prestasi kebaikan demi mendapatkan dan menikmati keselamatan itu. <\/p>\n

Iman Kekristenan mengajarkan bahwa keselamatan bukanlah sesuatu yang dicari dan dikejar. Melainkan keselamatan merupakan sebuah ANUGERAH yang telah diberikan sejak awal agar kita bisa hidup dalam membangun relasi dengan Allah. Sebab, tanpa relasi dengan Allah seberapa pun usaha dari manusia, segalanya akan terasa sia-sia. <\/p>\n

Keselamatan sendiri bukanlah titik final peziarahan kehidupan, melainkan justru sebuah awal untuk menjalani kehidupan.
\nHal inilah yang ditegaskan oleh Yesus kepada murid-muridnya, ketika ibu anak-anak Zebedeus datang meminta tempat terbaik untuk anaknya dalam kerajaan surga; yang digambarkan dalam injil oleh penginjil Matius. <\/p>\n

Saudara-saudariku yang terkasih, keselamatan merupakan wewenang dari Allah, tidak ada keterlibatan manusia untuk menciptakan keselamatan. Artinya bahwa, keterlibatan manusia terwujud dalam tindakan-tindakan yang mengekspresikan diri sebagai orang yang telah diselamatkan; yakni dengan menjalankan Sabda Yesus, menjadi pelayan dan hamba bagi sesama. Allah telah mencintai kita maka kita harus hidup berdasarkan cinta itu. Jika kita tidak hidup berdasarkan cinta itu, kita sedang menyusahkan dan menghukum diri kita sendiri. <\/p>\n

Tuhan memberkati kita semua.
