Yudas Iskariot, salah satu dari dua belas murid Yesus, mengkhianati Guru-Nya dengan harga tiga puluh uang perak. Dia tahu betul siapa Yesus, tapi memilih jalan yang salah. Kita sering merasa bahwa kita tidak akan pernah melakukan hal seperti itu, tapi mari kita jujur, kita juga pernah mengkhianati Yesus dengan pilihan-pilihan kita.

Kita mungkin tidak pernah menerima uang perak, tapi kita pernah memilih kesenangan diri sendiri daripada mengikuti kehendak Tuhan. Kita pernah memilih untuk tidak berbicara tentang iman kita, karena takut dicemooh. Kita pernah memilih untuk tidak berbagi kasih dengan orang lain, karena kita terlalu sibuk dengan diri sendiri.

Tapi Yesus tidak seperti itu. Dia tetap setia, bahkan ketika kita tidak. Dia tetap mengasihi, bahkan ketika kita mengkhianati-Nya. Mari kita belajar dari Yesus untuk tetap setia dan mengasihi, bahkan di tengah-tengah kelemahan dan kegagalan kita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
