Santo Hieronimus, seorang imam dan pujangga Gereja yang luar biasa, menegaskan bahwa &#8220;Tidak mengenal Kitab Suci berarti tidak mengenal Tuhan&#8221;. Pernyataan ini sangat relevan dengan bacaan Injil yang memperlihatkan tanggapan para murid Yesus tentang penolakan yang mereka alami, dalam perjalanan ke Yerusalem.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br \/>Ketika Yesus dan para murid-Nya tiba di sebuah desa Samaria, mereka tidak diterima dengan baik karena perjalanan Yesus menuju Yerusalem. Yakobus dan Yohanes, dua murid Yesus, merasa marah dan ingin menyuruh api turun dari langit untuk membinasakan orang-orang Samaria itu. Namun, Yesus menegur mereka dan mengatakan bahwa Anak Manusia tidak datang untuk membinasakan nyawa manusia, melainkan untuk menyelamatkannya.<br \/><br \/>Kita juga sering menghadapi situasi di mana kita merasa tidak diterima atau dihargai. Namun, sebagai pengikut Kristus, kita dipanggil untuk menanggapi situasi tersebut dengan kasih dan pengampunan, bukan dengan kemarahan atau balas dendam. Dengan mempercayai Tuhan dan hidup dalam kasih, kita dapat menemukan kekuatan dan pengharapan dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam hidup kita.<br \/><br \/>Pesan bagi kita hari ini: Mengenal Kitab Suci berarti mengenal Tuhan, dan mengenal Tuhan berarti memiliki kehidupan yang penuh kasih dan pengampunan.
